Welcome to our family website. First, let me describe the name: In a failed, earlier iteration of a family website, we were non-too-thrilled with the name we came up with. One day, while horsing around at our house, we wound up in a family pig-pile and our son, Emmett, said "Hey look, we are a whole pile of family". Eureka, we had a name for the site!

The goal of the site is to keep family and friends informed of the "goings on" of our family. Historically, we haven't been very good a keeping everyone informed and now that we are moving abroad to Spain, felt it was a good opportunity to utilize a family website to keep anyone interested in the loop (it doesn't hurt that I was able to get one free from my company - thanks, Vistaprint!). We will do our best to update the site regularly and keep everyone up to date with what we are doing and to see pictures of the kids as they grow.

Sorry for being behind on the updates. Between Jeff's travel schedule, Emmett's broken finger/surgery and the holidays we have been hard pressed to find time for posting. Things are finally normalizing, so we will catch up on our posts.
